A London based design consultancy was in a position where they had more work than they were able to deliver. Previous experience with Software Contractors and projects overrunning meant that they were initially nervous about outsourcing.
Key Objectives:
Since Conficio is an existing design consultancy with a record of satisfying past clients, the risk of outsourcing a software component was minimised. Conficio worked with the clients engineering team from pre-project (including the quoting stage) to ensure that the scope of work and the costs were as accurate as possible. Moving on from the quotation stage, the two engineering teams developed an architecture that satisfied the Hardware and Software requirements. A trust was built up between the teams, starting with small components of the development moving on to larger more technical projects.
